KOLD TV Tucson: Police: Cyclist killed by train ignored crossing warnings

Tucson, AZ (KOLD)Tucson Police are waiting for toxicology reports to tell them if a bicyclist killed by a train in downtown Monday night been drinking.

Tucson Police say 55-year-old Jerry Williams was struck as he crossed the tracks near 7th and Toole shortly after 10pm.

Police say the crossing arms were down, signal lights were flashing and the train operators were using their horns to signal their approach, but that Williams ignored all the warnings.
