Miles B. Cooper, Partner
A commitment to two-wheeled-travel gives Miles keen insight into investigating bicycle collisions and how to help the collisions’ victims. Miles not only has a successful track record in bicycle injury and death cases, he is involved in bicycle policy work, advocacy, and publishing on issues like Vision Zero. The invitation-only American Board of Trial Advocates inducted Miles into the organization when he was 39 – one of the youngest inductees in recent history. Miles is known for trying – and winning – jury trials in an era where most lawyers settle.
Maryanne B. Cooper, Partner
Detail-oriented. Tenacious. Passionate. Committed. Maryanne brings a trained editor’s eye and precision to her case analysis. As someone who has never owned a car and relies on active transportation to get not only her but her family around, she understands how cyclists’ perspectives differ. Maryanne balances her commitment to walking and riding in busy urban landscapes against the epidemic of distracted driving. This epidemic, and the fight for safe road access for all modes of travel, drives her commitment to cyclists’ rights. While waging that battle in the advocacy realm, she helps cyclists injured by car-first environments navigate the difficult insurance claim and litigation process.
Bob Mionske, Partner

In 2007, Bob authored Bicycling & the Law, the first book on bicycle law written for cyclists since The Road Rights and Liabilities of Wheelmen was published in 1895. Bob has made numerous media and speaking appearances advocating on behalf of the rights of cyclists.
