GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A lawsuit filed against the City of Grand Rapids charges gross negligence in the death of a bicyclist back in May.

Gregory Siemion died after being hit by a garbage truck pulling out onto Bridge Street.

The driver said he never saw Siemion and dragged him 90 feet before realizing what happened.

The lawsuit says the driver should have been more aware and cites several mishaps dating back to 1995.
