B92: Cyclist dies in traffic accident

KURŠUMLIJA — A man riding a bicycle died today on the Niš-Kuršumlija road in southern Serbia when he was hit by a car.
The victim was identified as Dragan O. from the village of Pepeljevac near Kuršumlija.
He was hit by a VW Golf which drove behind him, Serbian police (MUP) announced today.
The driver was identified as Faton K., a resident of Priština.
According to the police statement, the cause of the deadly accident was excessive speeding, which rendered the driver unable to control the vehicle.
The victim died instantly, it was announced.
